I’m a Spanish guy who’s been living in London since 2010. I have an inquisitive mind and have always been interested in technology and computer science.
Studying with the Open University made me disciplined, motivated and passionate about learning programming languages.
I work comfortably in projects with other people and especially enjoy sharing ideas with people from different backgrounds.
My main area of expertise is front-end development and everything related with this side of the web - HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5, ES6),
building small and medium Web Apps. I’m very keen on learning more about JavaScript and its endless possibilities. Currently I am working on my first app based on React.
I also have some experience with React, JQuery, Bootstrap, Node, Java, Python, PHP, SQL databases and NoSQL databases like Firebase.
OPEN UNIVERSITY 2015-2018
This vocationally-based qualification recognises achievement in the broad field of Computing and IT.
Graduates gain knowledge and understanding of the fundamental technologies of information and communication systems,
and develop numeracy, literacy, communication, team working, presentation, cognitive, organisational and practical
skills appropriate to the discipline, and demonstrate the ability to learn in the workplace.
I’ve always been a keen learner, so I took advantage of the endless knowledge that the internet offers. I’ve completed many programming courses with treehouse.com and I’m an active member of internet communities like github.com and stackoverflow.com. At the same time as studying I worked in the hospitality business which apart from helping me develop a problem-solving approach improved my communication and teamwork skills.
